Inaugurated by H.E. Nourdine Bourhane, Vice President of the Union of Comoros, the Comoros Investment and Inter-Enterprise Partnership Forum was held in Lyon on March 26th 2012. Thirty French companies, twenty Comorian companies, fifty representatives of Comorian diaspora associations, and senior Comorian Officials participated to this major Franco-Comorian economic meeting. 

The event was jointly organized by Lyon Chamber of Commerce and Industry the National Investment Promotion Agency of Comoros, ANPI.

As a result of the Forum, the France-Comoros Chamber of Commerce was created and a partnership agreement was signed between Station Energy Services, a French solar energy production company, and INER-Elec, a Comorian renewable energy company.

In the framework of the mission, the Union of Comoros also participated to the International Fair of Lyon from the 16th to the 26th of March 2012 where it successfully marketed the image of the country via a well-decorated stand.
